Investigation underway after man dies from gunshot wounds
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating after a man died from gunshot wounds.
On Tuesday around 8 p.m., Metro received a call from a person reporting gunshots fired in the 2800 block of Constantine Avenue.
Officers responded to the scene where they discovered shell casings on the ground and a vehicle that appeared to have been struck by gunfire.
Around 8:20 p.m. a man was brought to North Vista Hospital by way of private conveyance, suffering from gunshot wounds.
The man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later. His name has not been released.
Metro is currently investigation the incident. A preliminary investigation into the case indicates both incidents are related.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
