1 killed in crash on Boulder Highway near Tropicana
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- One person was killed Tuesday morning in a crash on Boulder Highway near Tropicana.
Metro police say the driver of a green Suburban traveling southbound on Boulder Highway swerved into the northbound lane, hitting a light pole and crashing into the median.
The crash happened at about 10 a.m.
The driver was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead soon after.
Police say he may have suffered a medical episode prior to the crash.
Three dogs were also in the vehicle at the time of the crash. They were handed over to animal control.
