Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police paperwork released Monday reveals new details about a love triangle with a deadly ending.

Troy White faces charges for murdering his estranged wife, 29-year-old Echo Lucas White.

Police paperwork states White refused to give his wife a divorce.

White is also accused of attempting to murder his estranged wife's new boyfriend, 28-year-old Joseph Averman.

Paperwork reveals White had allegedly made threats against the boyfriend in the past, but Averman didn't believe those threats.

Averman was shot twice on the right side.

A police affidavit also says White stood over his wife's boyfriend, asking him "how does it feel now?" after shooting Averman.

Action News spoke to Averman on the phone today; he says he's in a lot of pain but is doing okay. He was released from the hospital this afternoon.

Five children were also reportedly in the house when the shootings happened. Three of those are the accused shooter's own kids.

According to a police report, White still had access to the house because he'd often take care of his kids.

White attempted to flee, allegedly stealing his wife's car and driving to Arizona. He turned himself into Arizona authorities on Saturday.

He reportedly told Arizona authorities that the gun he used to shoot people in Las Vegas was in the spare tire compartment area.

Metro is currently working on extraditing White back to Nevada.
