Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County Coroner's Office has identified the baby found in a trash bin on July 18 as 'Baby Girl Robinson.'

It's not clear whether the child was given that name by birth, or acquired that name sometime during the investigation.

The baby's body was discovered in a trash bin at an apartment complex near Rancho and Decatur by a maintenance worker.

The maintenance worker alerted apartment management, who called police.

The Las Vegas Metro Police Dept. launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the child's death.

Police later located the child's teen mother. They say the young mom hid her pregnancy from family and friends before disposing of the baby.

It's not clear whether the baby died before or after being disposed of.

The teen mother has not been identified or charged, pending the outcome of the coroner's investigation into the child's cause of death.
