Locals come together to clean up community
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Some locals banned together Saturday to clean up their neighborhood.
Cleanup volunteers met in the area of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Carey Avenue for the Delmonico Neighborhood Cleanup.
Organized by the City of North Las Vegas and Councilwoman Pamela Goynes-Brown, it was a way to make the area nice again, while introducing neighbors.
Volunteers spent the day removing graffiti, repainting red curbs and removing litter.
After all of the work, volunteers were treated to a free family-style block party at Walter Park.
