Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department told Action News there was a stabbing after an argument between two groups escalated at the House of Blues inside Mandalay Bay Resort.

The stabbing happened Saturday night during a performance of “Tenacious D.” The club was closed during Metro’s investigation. Officials with Metro said that witnesses pointed out several people who were involved in the argument but they were released after it was determined they were not involved in the actual crime.

Metro said a man was stabbed in the leg with, initially reported, severe injuries but was downgraded at the hospital.

Metro also shut down Mandalay Bay’s parking garage during their search for suspects.

According to the venue’s website, Steel Panther was scheduled to perform at 11:30 p.m.
The House of Blues confirms the show was canceled due to Metro’s investigation.
