Motorcycle crashes into back of SUV
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) – A 21-year-old man was in critical condition Saturday after witnesses say he collided his Kawasaki ZX600 motorcycle into the rear of a Ford Explorer.
The collision occurred just before 1 p.m. Saturday on North Eastern Avenue just north of Washington Avenue.
Police say the motorcycle driver, Oscar Gonzalez of Las Vegas, may have been speeding at the time of the accident.
Gonzalez was transported to University Medical Center with critical injuries. The driver of the Explorer, 47-year-old Anthony Leiker, was not injured in the collision.
The accident remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
