Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A person of interest in a double shooting in Las Vegas on Friday morning has turned himself in to authorities in Arizona.
44-year-old Troy White surrendered to a Yavapai County Sheriff's Deputy in Arizona.
The shooting happened just before noon in a neighborhood near Alta and Buffalo on the west side of Las Vegas.
A 29-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man were both shot inside a home on Altamira Road. Children were inside the house at the time of the shooting. One of them went to a neighbor's house to report the shooting, who then called police.

Both victims were transported to University Medical Center, where the woman later died. The male victim was said to be in stable condition.

Authorities immediately launched an investigation and a search for the gunman. They say he was spotted in a Dodge Durango with Nevada plates fleeing the scene.
Detectives spent the afternoon working to determine the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting and the relationship between those involved.
"At this time the relationship between the shooter and the victims is unknown, as is the relationship between the suspect and the children," Metro spokesman Jose Hernandez said. "It's being investigated at this time."
It's not clear where the children, who ranged from six months to 9 years old, will now be staying.
The identity of the victims has not been released.
