Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- If you don't have a cell phone, you can try to qualify for a free one this weekend.
The Free Phone Project is giving them away. The program provides cell phones to low-income individuals, veterans and senior citizens.
500 cell phones will be given away Saturday. That includes monthly minutes and texts. They can be picked up at the MGM Resorts International Culinary Academy of Las Vegas events center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
The events center is on the 7000 block of West Lake Mead Boulevard in North Las Vegas.
