Southern Nevada Health District will offer back-to-school shots
LAS VEGAS (AP) -- The Southern Nevada Health District plans to begin offering back-to-school immunizations at a new main public health center near the Meadows Mall in Las Vegas.
Officials say school shots will be the only service offered beginning Wednesday at the new location at 330 S. Valley View Blvd. near Meadows Lane. Hours will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Saturday back-to-school immunizations are slated Aug. 11 at the Meadows Mall, Aug. 18 at the Boulevard Mall in Las Vegas and Aug. 25 at the Galleria at Sunset in Henderson.
Immunization clinics are also planned Aug. 24 at the East Las Vegas and Henderson public health centers.
More health services are slated to begin later at the main facility.
The old health district office at 625 Shadow Lane closed in April.
