Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Teachers at Bonner Elementary School are in for a big surprise at the start of the school year.
That's because their teacher's lounge is being completely renovated. It's all thanks to a teacher who saw a need and got her students talking.
The kids wrote letters to Lowe's, telling the company about their need for a makeover.
The Lowe's Heroes program took over and donated all of the supplies to make their lounge a nice place to relax.
The summer project started in June. Teachers, Boy Scouts and other volunteers have lent a hand.
They hope to have it completed by the end of August.
