Soldiers return to Las Vegas after serving in Afghanistan
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- About 30 soldiers from the Army's 485th military police unit returned to Las Vegas on Wednesday to the open arms of their families.
During their tour of duty, they helped secure a detainee population of up to 2400 people in Afghanistan.
They say it's good to be back on American soil.
Along with the 30 soldiers from Las Vegas, another 100 are headed for the Nevada Air National Guard base in Reno.
