Police investigate attempted sexual assault
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police are investigating an attempted sexual assault that happened early Tuesday morning on the west side of the Valley.
The incident happened in the 8100 block of West Flamingo at about 3:30 a.m.
The victim told police she woke up with a stranger on top of her. She put up a fight against the man, and was hit with a blunt object before the man ran off.
She described the perpetrator as a mixed-race man in his twenties, with a medium build and an almost-shaved head. He was wearing dark shorts and tennis shoes.
Detectives are investigating the case.
