Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A stunning meltdown Sunday on the greens, as a UNLV alum lost his chance at victory during the British Open.

Adam Scott went into the fourth round Sunday with a four shot lead.

But he now joins an infamous list of greatest collapses in golf history.

The Aussie bogeyed the final four holes of the British Open to finish one stroke behind Ernie Els.

It was a painful blow to Scott, who played brilliantly for the first three days.
