Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Students from across the West were in town this weekend for a trap shooting competition.
Kids from 3rd through 12th grade showed off their skills at the new Clark County Shooting Complex.
200 kids plus their parents were on site Saturday shooting through the afternoon.
The competition included skeet, stand and trap shooting.
Organizers said Las Vegas is the best venue for the kids to compete.
They also said the competition is growing by leaps and bounds. Already, they've seen a 30 percent increase in participants this year.
