Baby's body found in trash bin near Rancho & Decatur
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The body of a baby was discovered yesterday morning in a trash bin at the Rancho Mesa apartment complex in the 2800 block of North Rancho Drive.
The body was discovered by a maintenance worker. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department received a call from the property manager's office just after 8 a.m.
Police believe the baby was between three and six months old. The gender and race of the baby were not released.
Homicide detectives were called in to investigate. It's not clear how long the baby's body was in the trash bin.
