Construction worker pulled from trench at water treatment plant
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Firefighters and rescue personnel pulled a worker from a 14-foot deep trench Wednesday morning at the Las Vegas Water Pollution Control Facility on Vegas Valley Drive.
According to Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, the worker was doing work on a retaining wall when he fell into the trench. A crane and basket were used to get the worker out.
The worker was transported to Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center.
The man is employed by Sletten Construction of Nevada. Their headquarters is located on Polaris Avenue.
The worker was in stable condition upon rescue. It is believed that his injuries are minor.
