Coroner: Man who crashed into pole died of natural causes
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The man who crashed his car into a light pole on Friday night died of natural causes, the Clark County Coroner's Office ruled.
The coroner's office says 65-year-old David Cooper of Las Vegas died of heart problems.
Police said Cooper was driving west on Flamingo when he crashed into a traffic signal pole while turning left on Perry Street.
He was taken to Sunrise Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Police at the time said it was possible his death was related to a medical condition.
A 74-year-old female passenger was seriously injured in the crash.
