Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- It was another rainy night here in the Las Vegas valley.

Residents in the northwest were hit especially hard and were cleaning up Sunday morning after getting hit with a heavy storm Saturday night.

Several cars had to be pulled out of deep water on the area's roadways.

There was standing water on the northern beltway, which caused the shutdown of the east and westbound lanes.

Crews told Action News one woman was on top of her car when Highway Patrol troopers finally got to her and her vehicle Saturday night.

The intersection at Buffalo and Grand Teton Drives was also flooded with about 10 vehicles stalled in the water.

Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries.

Street sweepers were scheduled to be out Sunday cleaning up the area.
