Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Las Vegas firefighters were called to a fire at a vacant house early Sunday morning.

It happened around 3:40 a.m. on North 22nd Street, on the city's east side, near Eastern Avenue and Bonanza Road.

When crews arrived, heavy flames and smoke were coming from the one-story home.

Most of the fire was on the outside of the house, but it had worked its way inside through a window. It was brought under control in less than 10 minutes.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

The house is vacant, but firefighters said it appeared it's being renovated and utilities were connected to the house.

Since the house is vacant, there were no displaced residents and no injuries were reported.

Damage to the house is estimated at $45,000.
