Man in critical condition after shooting at Owens and H Street
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has confirmed with Action News that one person was shot on Owens Avenue near H Street.
Metro received the call just before 6 p.m. Saturday night.
A lieutenant with Metro’s Gang Unit reports that a neighborhood car wash was being conducted when a vehicle arrived and fired numerous shots into another vehicle.
One man was hit by gunfire and was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
Owens Avenue between H Street and J Street was closed during the investigation.
Metro says that it is believed to be gang related and have made no arrests at this time but they are investigating the scene.
