LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Las Vegas police departmental reviews have cleared officers in three fatal shootings more than a year ago.

Oversight documents made public Wednesday find no departmental policy violations in the deaths of Michael Chevalier, Abdul Hamlan and David Paul Gonzalez.

Police say Chevalier was killed by SWAT officers after shooting at police and taking a hostage at an East Charleston Boulevard apartment.

Hamlan was shot and killed after pointing a handgun at two officers responding to a report of a suicidal man with a handgun in the garage of a home.

Gonzalez was shot dead after shooting at officers following a vehicle pursuit near the Las Vegas Strip.

Releasing the three reports comes after Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson on June 20 issued findings clearing the officers in each case.
