Mother, boyfriend arrested in connection with death of infant
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Two people have now been arrested for their involvement in the death of a child.
In August 2006, detectives with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department responded to Sunrise Trauma Center for a case involving a two-month-old infant who appeared to be suffering from a traumatic brain injury.
The baby died from his injuries on July 11, 2011.
As a result of the investigation into this incident, detectives arrested 32-year-old Edward Thompson and 26-year-old Monique Bork, both of Las Vegas.
Both have been charged with one count of murder, and Bork was charged with one count of child neglect and substantial bodily harm.
Bork is the baby's mother and was dating Thompson at the time of the incident.
