Police search for suspect in attempted robbery, shooting
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police are searching for a man who attempted to rob two people, shooting one of them in the head, back in May.
Authorities said the gunman approached two people as they were leaving the 7-Eleven store at 998 Sierra Vista Drive just after 1 a.m. on May 10. The gunman attempted to rob both victims, shooting one of them in the head. That victim remains hospitalized.
The gunman is described as white or Hispanic, about 6 feet tall with a slender build. At the time of the crime he was wearing a LA Dodgers hat, a dark-colored jacket, dark-colored pants with black and white shoes. Police say the gunman was smoking a cigarette during the robbery and his handgun was chrome-colored.
The gunman fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.
