Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Clark County Fire Department held a press conference on Friday asking citizens to turn in all of their fireworks.

The plea comes after officials said fireworks may be to blame for a massive apartment fire that left four people injured and 50 residents homeless on Thursday.

Anyone can turn in their fireworks, no questions asked, to County Fire Station 18 at 575 E. Flamingo Road, or Station 76 at 50 E. Laughlin Circle Drive in Laughlin.

Fireworks turned in will be safely destroyed.

Fireworks, even the 'Safe and Sane' kind, are illegal after the Fourth of July.
