Dog killed in morning fire on Van Patten Street in Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A dog was killed this morning during a fire at an apartment complex in the 2600 block of Van Patten Street, near Joe W. Brown Drive and East Sahara Avenue.
The call was received at about 7:37 a.m. by the Clark County Fire Department. The fire was knocked down by 7:47 a.m.
Four apartments total were damaged by fire -- one by the fire itself and three by smoke.
Seven adults have been displaced as a result and the American Red Cross will be providing assistance to them as needed.
No injuries to civilians or fire personnel was reported.
Damage is estimated at $30,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
