Raising Cane's and local charity assembles care packages for soldiers
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Raising Cane's restaurant in Las Vegas teamed up with a local charity yesterday to put together care packages for soldiers who are stationed overseas.
Operation Show You Care and the East Flamingo location of Raising Cane's put together more than 300 care packages.
Volunteers said that the most requested items are things you can't get overseas like baby wipes, beef jerky and power drinks.
The volunteers said that the care packages are just a small way to show support for those that are fighting for our freedom.
Operation Show You Care sends out care packages year-round. For more information, click here.
