Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A local mother is speaking out about the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer that is accused of groping several women.

That officer is no longer with the department and he has already admitted guilt to inappropriate behavior.

One of his accusers believes that there are more victims out there that haven't stepped forward yet.

It was a little more than a year ago when officer John Norman pulled Rebecca Portillo over, with her friend and their kids in the back seat.

According to the police report, Norman did not have a reason to pull the women over. He claimed that he just wanted to warn the women that they were in a high-crime area.

Portillo can sum up her encounter with the former police officer in just three words.

"He violated me."

Portillo said that after Norman pulled her over, she readily admitted to the officer that she had an outstanding warrant stemming from a traffic violation. She said that Norman agreed to let her go after he pat her down.

"He was telling me that he'd be really upset to know if he took me to jail if I had drugs on me or in my bra."

Portillo said that's when Norman asked her to shake her bra.

She said Norman asked to see her breasts, giving her the impression that she wouldn't have to go to jail if she complied.

Portillo also says that Norman told her it was her lucky day before removing the handcuffs that he had placed on her and setting her free.

Portillo filed a complaint against Norman with the police department. She says that she felt intimidated into doing something she never wanted to do.

She says that LVMPD closed the case due to a lack of evidence.

It is now up to a judge to decide what happens to Norm.

Portillo's attorney says his sentence could range from probation to two years in jail. However, once he completes the probation, he will be able to withdraw his guilty plea for the lewdness charge, meaning he would no longer have to register as a sex offender.
