Biker shot by sheriff's deputies in Nye County
Pahrump, NV (KTNV) -- A member of the Hessians Motorcycle Club was shot by Nye County Sheriff's Office deputies on Saturday afternoon.
According to the sheriff's office, deputies responded to a residence on Manse after it was reported that a male had fired several shots from a gun.
Upon arrival, the deputies encountered a man sitting on a chair next to the front gate to the property.
When the deputies attempted to speak to the man, he stood up and fired several shots from a large-caliber pistol at one of the deputies.
Both deputies returned fire, striking the suspect several times.
The man was flown to University Medical Center. His condition is unknown at this time.
The incident is under investigation. The names of the deputies will be released on July 2.
