Roadway reopen after traffic was diverted off Interstate 215
Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- Interstate 215 between Valle Verde Drive and Gibson Road was the scene of three separate accidents Sunday afternoon. Henderson Police was diverting traffic off of the highway onto Valle Verde.
Nevada High Patrol told Action News that one of the accidents was an injury accident where an occupant of one of the vehicles was trapped but sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The other two accidents had minor injuries and were cleared quickly.
All of the accidents occurred on the interstate between Valle Verde and the I-215/US-95 interchange commonly referred to as the “Fiesta Bowl.”
Nevada Highway Patrol, Henderson Police and Henderson Fire all responded to the accidents.
