Flash Flood season begins
Flash Flood Season in Clark County is July through September.
The Regional Flood Control District is reminding residents to be aware. Storms can move in quickly, and just a few inches of rain can cause damage. Extensive work has been done to storm detention basins and flood channels in the valley, but water on the roadways can still be a problem. That's why drivers should never attempt to cross a flooded street.
