Local woman celebrates 102nd birthday
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A very special birthday party was thrown Friday for a Las Vegas resident.
Ms. Laura Cisco celebrated 102 years of life at the Stewart Pines Senior Apartments.
The 20-year Las Vegas resident has lived through many historic times including the Great Depression and the segregated South, but says that Las Vegas feels like home.
"With God's help, I've made it," Laura said.
Laura was presented with several proclamations in honor of her 102nd birthday celebration.
She also received recognition from Senator Harry Reid's office and Mayor Carolyn Goodman.
