Man arrested after fatal shooting in east Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A 28-year-old man is behind bars after police say he shot two people early Wednesday morning, killing a woman and injuring a man.
Police say the suspect is the son of the couple who was shot.
Authorities were called to the 3000 block of Greendale Street at about 4:40, where they discovered two people shot inside a white car.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was taken to Sunrise Hospital in critical condition.
Detectives identified Jeffrey Wilson of Las Vegas as a suspect. Wilson was arrested and charged with one count of murder with a deadly weapon and one count of attempted murder with a deadly weapon.
