Accused bank robber arrested in North Las Vegas
North Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A North Las Vegas man is behind bars after allegedly robbing a bank and attempting to rob another bank.
Police say 24-year-old Daniel Cordova robbed the U.S. Bank in the 2200 block of East Lake Mead Boulevard on June 18.
Tips led police to identify the man as Cordova.
The afternoon of June 23, Cordova allegedly attempted to rob the Wells Fargo Bank in the 2400 block of East Lake Mead Boulevard, but did not take off with any money.
Police tracked down Cordova and booked him at the North Las Vegas Detention Center.
