I-15 Southbound lanes re-open
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Nevada Highway Patrol is reporting that the southbound lanes of I-15 have re-opened at Stateline.
As of 3:15 p.m. Friday, there was still a traffic back up of about 3 miles on southbound I-15.
The lanes were closed for about 6 hours Friday after a tanker truck carrying a corrosive material overturned, spilling its load and fuel, on the northbound side of the highway on the California side, about 3 miles south of Stateline.
The accused was reported at around 6:24 a.m.
California Highway Patrol reports that there is still one lane closed on the northbound side of I-15 where the truck is overturned. Hazmat crews were still working to clean up the spill.
