Local family presented with floragraph from Rose Parade float
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The family of the first Las Vegas organ donor to be honored in the 123rd Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, Calif.
Aric Brill's picture was one of the 72 people displayed on the Donate Life Float.
His family was presented with Aric's floragraph from the float on Thursday.
His mom talked to Action News and described the bittersweet emotions that ran through her as she watched the float in the parade in Pasadena, Calif.
Brill, who was 16 at the time, was shot and killed by a man who tried to rob him as he walked home from a house party in February of 2009.
