Laughlin, NV (KTNV) -- A 77-year-old man is dead after a crash in a casino parking lot in Laughlin on Wednesday that may have been medically-related.

Police say the crash happened at about 12:25 p.m. in the Riverside Resort Casino parking lot.

It appeared a Cadillac Eldorado was parked in a stall, ready to back out, and a Mercury Mountaneer was stopped, waiting for the Cadillac to back out. The Cadillac began backing out, and the driver suddenly slumped over and accelerated, smashing the back of the Cadillac into the front of the Mercury.

The driver of the Cadillac was taken to West Arizona Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

The man's identity has not yet been released. Police say he was a resident of Bullhead City, Arizona. The driver of the Mercury was not injured.

The accident remains under investigation.
