Woman dead, girl critically injured in I-15 rollover
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Nevada Highway Patrol officials are reporting a woman is dead and a 9-year-old girl is in critical condition after the Dodge Durango they were traveling in went off the road and rolled over.
The Durango, which had California license plates, was traveling northbound on the I-15 between the Sloan and St. Rose off-ramps, when it lost its left rear tire at around 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.
The driver lost control and the care went off the right shoulder of the road.
Officials report that there were six passengers in the car at the time.
The young girl was transported by helicopter to UMC Trauma.
The other four passengers were transported by ground to UMC with non-life threatening injuries.
