Teen reports sexual assault at a local park
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Las Vegas police and Clark County School District Police are investigating a possible sexual assault this morning at a park near Spring Valley High School on South Buffalo Drive near West Twain Avenue.
A teenager came to the high school nurse's office at about 8:32 a.m. this morning and reported that he or she had been sexually assaulted in one of the restrooms at Spring Valley Park.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, a suspect has been taken into custody. The person was detained after witnesses directed them to the suspect's location.
