Clark County, NV (KTNV) -- The man killed in a tragic construction accident, nearly 600 feet underground, is being remembered by close family and friends.
Veteran tunnel worker Thomas Turner from Henderson was killed Monday as he and his crew were drilling a 3-mile long tunnel behind the Hoover Dam.
The $817 million project should finish in mid 2014. It will add a third water intake for Las Vegas.
Family and friends held a memorial for Turner on Friday.
