Grieving widow asks Metro to change policies

Boulder City, NV (KTNV) -- The Boulder City mayor and some council members attended a ceremony for the late Stanley Gibson on June 12, 2012.

A Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officer shot and killed the unarmed Gulf War veteran 6 months ago.

Gibson suffered from post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

During his rememberance ceremony, his widow said she wanted to give a message to the entire community.

"I want change," said Rhonda Gibson. "Metro, change the way you deal with mental patients, please" pleaded Gibson.

Rhonda Gibson wants police held accountable for her husband's death.

Stanley Gibson was shot 7 times.
