McCarran Airport holds open house for new terminal
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- McCarran Airport gave the City of Las Vegas its first look at the airport's newest terminal.
Airport officials expected to see 4,500 people at the open house for Terminal 3, and hoped for 6,000 but got more than double that Saturday.
According to airport officials, the new terminal opened just in time. They say the old terminals wouldn't have been able to accommodate the heavy air traffic expected this summer.
The open house Saturday showcased the Valley's newest attraction and of course, allowed guests to sample all the good food.
