Erik Scott's family files lawsuit against Costco
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The family of a man killed by Metro officers has filed a lawsuit against the store where it happened.
Erik Scott was shot by officers who responded to reports of a man with a gun at the Summerlin Costco.
The shooting was ruled justified during a coroner's inquest.
The family dropped their suit against Metro in exchange for Metro's agreement not to pursue reimbursement for the department's legal fees.
