Kings Row on Valley View gutted by two-alarm fire
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Firefighters responded to a fire this morning at about 2:25 a.m. at the Kings Row bar and restaurant at 3111 S. Valley View Blvd., near Sirius Avenue.
Firefighters could see fire through the roof shortly after they arrived on scene.
Approximately 25 fire units and 50 firefighters from Clark County, Las Vegas and North Las Vegas were eventually needed to put out the two-alarm fire.
It took approximately 45 minutes to bring the fire under control. It did not spread to other businesses in the strip mall because of a fire wall.
According to public information officer Timothy Szymanski from Las Vegas Fire & Rescue, Kings Row is completely gutted.
Because the business is located in unincorporated Clark County, the Clark County Fire Department will be responsible for the investigation.
It is not known at this time how the fire started.
According to another business owner in the area, Kings Row has been closed for about three weeks. The location used to be home to the Blue Ox West for many years.
Valley View Boulevard was closed from West Pennwood Avenue to a little bit south of West Sirius Avenue while fire crews cleaned up after the fire.
Action News will update this story with new information as it becomes available.
