Multi-car accident on Flamingo Road results in several injuries
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- A seven-car accident at about 1:43 a.m. today has resulted in five people being transported to a local hospital.
According to initial reports, two cars were driving recklessly at a high rate of speed on East Flamingo Road when they clipped each other.
One of the cars -- a green Corvette -- hit a light pole and the other car hit several cars.
Five people have been transported to the hospital. At least one of those is seriously injured with head trauma. The other people do not appear to have life-threatening injuries.
The westbound lanes of East Flamingo Road were closed from Spencer Street to South Maryland Parkway for about three hours. They are now open.
