Pizza Por Favor event coming to Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- The Dallas-based Pizza Patron is offering a free pizzas today during its "Pizza Por Favor" promotion to anyone who orders in Spanish.
A customer must order in Spanish between the hours of 5 and 8 p.m. at a participating location. Limit is one per customer while supplies last.
Pizza Por Favor is the first of three 2012 campaigns the company has planned to celebrate the brand's Hispanic focus and the positive changes made by immigrants.
The company gained notoriety in 2007 with a promotion called "Pizza Por Pesos." The decision to accept Mexican pecos at all of its U.S. locations resulted in company executives receiving threats.
Not everyone has reacted favorably to the Pizza Por Favor promotion either.
There are 104 Pizza Patron locations in 7 states with more than 80 under development.
