Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Police are searching for a gunman after a female employee was shot inside a medical clinic in northwest Las Vegas on Monday afternoon.
The shooting happened just before 4:30 p.m. at the Jurani Clinic on North Decatur near Washington.
Police say a man entered the clinic and shot the female employee in the leg, possibly with a semi-automatic weapon, before fleeing the scene on foot.
Witnesses, including several women and children waiting for doctors appointments, described seeing the man demand money before shooting the woman and running off with fistfuls of cash.
The gunman was described as a black man in his twenties, about 6'1" wearing dark clothing with a black mask.
The condition of the victim was not immediately known.
Police remained on scene for the next several hours investigating the case.
