Bail set for soccer coach accused of sexual assault
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Marvin Juarez, the soccer coach accused of sexual assault of a boy on his team, was in court Wednesday morning for his 72-hour hearing.
Juarez was granted bail in the amount of $240,000. He is due back in court on June 19.
Juarez was arrested on Sunday at a soccer field after the victim's mother contacted police. He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center.
According to the police report, the soccer coach had sex with the 13-year-old victim twice that week at his apartment after soccer practice.
Police believe that there may be other victims.
Juarez is facing four counts of sexual assault, 11 counts of lewdness with a minor under the age of 14 and two counts of unlawful contact with a child.
