Henderson Fire Department called to trailer fire
Henderson, NV (KTNV) -- The Henderson Fire Department responded to a trailer fire Sunday evening.
It happened near the intersection of Mojave and Lake Mead Parkway around 5:30 p.m.
The residents were home at the time. They smelled smoke and then discovered the fire in a bedroom of the double-wide trailer. They called 911 and evacuated the home.
When crews arrived, smoke and fire was coming from the bedroom.
No injuries were reported.
Southwest Gas and Nevada Energy were called in to assist with securing the residence.
Fire investigators determined the cause of the fire to be electrical. Damage is estimated at $15,000.
Three residents were displaced as a result of the fire.
