2 Alabama residents killed while crossing Las Vegas Boulevard
Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) -- Two 52-year-old residents from Alabama were killed by a car at about 9:15 p.m. Saturday night while attempting to cross Las Vegas Boulevard South.
A 2008 Honda Accord, driven by 23-year-old William Parker, was traveling north on Las Vegas Boulevard when he hit the two pederstrians just north of East Robindale Road.
They were not in a marked crosswalk.
Both pedestrians were transported to University Medical Center Trauma and were pronounced dead after arrival.
The driver remained on the scene.
The Alabama residents were from Mobile. The Clark County coroner will release their names after notification of next of kin.
This is the 55th and 56th fatality in Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's jurisidiction.
The collision is still under investigation.
